Glenfiddich Tasting
The Wood’s Bar
Bristol
9th May
The first Whisky Club in Bristol was launched earlier this month in The Wood’s bar, the city’s premiere whisky destination. Called the Monkey Shoulder Wood’s Whisky Club, it seeks to educate and inform members through monthly tasting events featuring the world’s leading distilleries and their brands.
Reflecting on Glenfiddich’s pioneering role in the Scotch Whisky industry, Monkey Shoulder and The Woods decided to ask Glenfiddich to host their first Single Malt night on Tuesday 9th May.
Pictures from this event can be seen below.
For more information on how to become a member of The Monkey Shoulder Wood’s Whisky Club, please contact Gall at The Woods on 0117 925 0890.
Best regards,
Ludo

Hi Ludo,
Would it be possible for you to do a similar evening in the north of england in the near future.
The reason I ask is that we are self-employed as pub relief manager's we work nationwide and as such due to the fact that my partner loves your brands. We try to educate the masses on the virtues of single malt whiskie's as opposed to the blended varieties.
We had a once in a lifetime opportunity last year and we actually worked at The Distillery for a short while prior to the christmas rush. This we enthuse about with our friends and jealous ones too. We have a lot of contacts and we would be very interested if you would come to a mutually convenient venue to hold a similar evening to the one in Bristol.
Incidentally we know a friend of your's Debs who is a senior guide at The Distillery and speaks with enthusiasm about working with you when you both began working at the distillery. It would be wonderful to meet you.
Debs knows who we are as when we are not working she shows us round on the connoiseurs tour at the distillery.
You can e-mail me at pubangels@yahoo.co.uk and we can arrange a chat.
many thanks
Nancy
